Omnissiah, I Shrunk the Primarchs

"I wonder what he's come up with now," Ferrus said as the Primarchs followed their father to the workshop of Bellisarius Cawl. He insisted that they come with the Emperor to see his newest creation. It was an unusual request, but the Emperor had agreed to it. "I don't know," the Emperor said. "He seems very excited to have you all see it though." "True," Perturabo said. "I bet it's something he wants Father to approve of before he shows it to the Mechanicum." "Most likely," Ferrus said. They arrived at the workshop and entered. Cawl himself waved them over to where he had set up the device. It was obvious that he was excited, which was quite unusual for a tech-priest. The Primarchs chalked it up to being able to show the Omnissiah something new. "What is it?" Roboute asked Cawl. "It's a shrink ray, lord," Cawl replied. He was always very courteous to the Primarchs because of their ...

Game Night

It was game night for the Emperor and his sons. Mostly this was board games, but there were some old video games as well. Due to the nature of games, there were almost none that they could all participate in together. It was something that the Emperor lamented frequently, but there was nothing to be done about it. Most games broke down at such large numbers, and the experience wasn't the same when they played as teams to keep their numbers down. Angron, Corvus, Vulkan, and Alpharius were playing an ancient game called Monopoly. Alpharius was cheating, but only the Emperor knew this. The other three weren't paying as much attention as they should have been. "Hey!" Angron said. "You're cheating, Alpharius." "Am not," Alpharius said. "Everything is in the rules." "I guess," Angron said, though he didn't seem very convinced. He resolved to read the entire rule set for the game. Jaghatai, Leman, Magnus and Lorgar we...

The Derelict

The ship was drifting, looking serene in the void. The Imperator Somnium approached it, intent on learning the reason for its radio silence. The ship master looked over to the Emperor, waiting for orders. "I will board it," the Emperor said. "Alone, my lord?" the ship master, Kaal asked. "I do not do anything alone," the Emperor said with a smile. "The Primarchs will come with me." "Of course, lord," Kaal said with his own smile. He knew there was no reason to inform Lord Malcador, who was watching the Primarchs while the Emperor was on the bridge. He and the Primarchs were likely to beat the Emperor to the teleportarium. It was also likely that Lord Valdor would go with as well. Some one had to keep them all safe. *********************** Kaal was right in assuming that the Primarchs would beat the Emperor to the teleportarium. This was partially because the Emperor had diverted to grab Valdor on his way down. The Primarch...

Justice League

The battle against Darkseid was going well. Darkseid's army seemed to be in full retreat, boom tubes were opening everywhere. Superman spotted Darkseid, continuing the fight. A boom tube opened behind Darkseid and Superman decided to punch him into the tube before it collapsed. Rushing forwards, he took a moment to enjoy the ability to relax his restraints. Humans were fragile to him, Darkseid however, was not. BOOOM!!!!! A boom tube opened just in front of him, he couldn't turn and barreled through it. He found himself flying at a man wearing robes with long, dark hair. He realized, and tried to reign himself in, but there wasn't enough space to slow himself. In the end it didn't matter, as he encountered something gold that sent him flying backwards. There was another boom and he crashed into Batman, Diana fell right on top of him. The three of them continued to slide along the floor of the room. A third tube opened, and their slide was halted by a wall of green e...
