Kidnapped

There had been increasing rumors of unrest within some of the underhivers. There had been some terrorist attacks in various areas. It was making Valdor nervous about the location of Nova. The most recent attacks had been very close to the tutorium. The Emperor was determined to not show fear to the people making the attacks. He knew they were trying to manipulate him into doing something for them, or giving them money. The Primarchs were all well trained in case they were abducted by anyone trying to use them against the Emperor. They were to be the worst captives they could possibly be. They all had their own ideas about that, including attempts to escape just about any scenario. This was some assurance to both the Emperor and Valdor. One day, there was a utility failure at Nova, causing an unscheduled early release from the tutorium. The Primarchs lined up and attempted to contact the Palace to inform Valdor or their father that there was an issue and they needed to be picked up ...

Star Wars

It was movie night at the Palace. Once a week the Emperor would bring out a hololith recording of a film. Typically these were old Terran movies. This was a special movie night as they were starting a long series of movies. Ferrus was making popcorn with his modified servitor. Vulkan had "made" popcorn once, the resultant smoke was so bad Valdor had sent a Custodian patrol to see if there had been a fire. The Emperor settled with his own bowl of popcorn and got the attention of his sons. "We will be watching this series in release order, not episode number. This means we will start with episodes IV, V, VI, then I,II,II, followed by VII, VIII, and IX. The three stand alones will follow IX. I will explain where they fit when we watch them," he explained. The Primarchs nodded their understadning. The Emperor  began the playback of Episode IV. "Those are robots?" Perturabo asked upon seeing the two droids, he didn't seem impressed. Rogal shushed him. T...

The Fundraiser

"My lord Emperor, I would like to invite you and your sons to a fundraiser for our new children's wing at the Apothecarion," the lady's voice came across the vox in the Throneroom. The new term at Nova had started the previous day. "Will there be alcohol at this function?" the Emperor asked, thinking of Leman. "Yes, there will be alcohol, lord," the lady responded. She seemed a bit confused to the question. "Will it be a problem, lord?" "I will try to not have it be a problem," the Emperor said signalling to Valdor. "When will this function be?" "It will be tomorrow night, lord. Does this mean you will be coming?" She seemed hopeful. "Yes, I will be coming, along with my sons," the Emperor said. The image of the lady on the hololith lit up with excitement. The Emperor cut the vox feed and turned to Valdor, who had approached the Throne. "I will need a Custodian to assist me with the...

Cypher

The Galacticus had returned to where Nameless was supposed to be picked up by his parents. They were still missing. Naomi checked with the vox relay station to see if any communication had been received from them. There was nothing. "We are going to have to leave him either with the Arbitrators or the schola," Mytch said. He needed to get back to his normal job the next day. "You can head out, Mytch," Naomi said, she understood his need to leave. "I can handle one child for a few extra days while we locate his parents." "They aren't coming, and might try and deny that I'm theirs if we somehow do find them," Cypher said. He was very pessimistic about his future now that the Primarchs had been returned. He fingered the piece of paper that the Lion had given him. He missed the Primarchs and their strange dynamics. "You don't know that, Nameless," Naomi said in a reassuring voice. "Call me Cypher," Cypher sai...

Summer Camp

The Emperor found a "summer camp" to send the Primarchs to. They would be gone about twenty days in total. Fourteen of those days would be the camp itself, the other six were transport. However, the Emperor wasn't transporting them himself this time, the camp offered transportation services. Today was the day the camp shuttle was arriving to pick up the Primarchs. The Primarchs were excited because it was the first time they had been off planet without their father. This promised to be a lot of fun. They were lined up by the landing apron where the shuttle was being permitted to land. The shuttle would take them to the voidship that was the real transport to the camp. Each Primarch had a suit case by their side. Alpharius was going to camp, Omegon was confusing the Alpha Legion by staying for twenty days at their Legiones Astartes training hall. "Does everyone have everything they need?" the Emperor asked as the pick up time drew near. "Yes, Father,...
